Sarti Wellington Street was the first of our three Italian restaurants in Glasgow, first opening its doors to the public in 1992, 25 years ago, as a café bar and delicatessen. The large deli counter may now be gone but all the same products are still available to purchase. 
The breakfast club at Sarti Wellington Street has now become a Glasgow meeting place landmark. From 8am every morning the Italian restaurant fills with people enjoying a few moments of peace before the hustle and bustle of their busy lives. Cappuccini, Italian toasts, croissants, fresh orange juice and much, much more is served none stop until 11am when everyone disappears back to work. 
No sooner is the restaurant re-assembled that the lunchtime rush begins and the bustle that is Sarti starts again. 

Available to buy to take home from Sarti Wellington Street is our own Sarti recipe Salsciccia Toscana (hot or mild) and our own Sarti blend coffee (ground or bean). Both of which are made from our own family recipes dating back 100 years. 

Also available are cheeses like Gorgonzola, Taleggio, Pecorino Toscano, Dolcelatte and Fontina. We will gladly slice you Prosciutto di Parma, Salame Toscano or Milano, Coppa, Mortadella, Bresaola, Speck and Filetto di Cinghiale. You may also choose from the ample range of “sott’olio” products and a selection of Italian biscuits.  

Our range of Italian Christmas specialties like Panettone and Pandoro is quite large and Sarti has become a popular place to shop for your festive goodies. In fact, don’t forget about your Italian Easter products such as the beautifully wrapped Easter eggs and Columba. Not to mention our Sarti Hampers which are very popular and can be created for any occasion depending on your price range (see our Hamper page for more info regarding these).
