Story of the Wine:
A scaled down Super Tuscan this wine was first released in 2005. The firmness of the Sangiovese is softened by the richness and fruit of the Merlot.
CollePino means literally “pine hill” and reflects the undulating hills and the pine woods in and around the Banfi estate in southern Tuscany.

| Vinification: | A 7-8 day maceration and fermentation in stainless steel vats at between 25-300C. There is a malolactic fermentation. |
| Ageing: | Aged in French oak barrels for 2 months |
