Story of the wine:
Centine is part of the new wave of wines to come out of Tuscany, particularly as a consequence of the updating of Italy’s wine regulations. It is a wine that blends the quintessentially Italian variety of Sangiovese with the international style of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The word Centine is the name of one of the old farmhouses on the Banfi estate.
